The management team of Winsome Waste Management and Recyclers, led by the CEO, Mrs. Winsome Tariere Adere, visited Closer TV to explore a strategic partnership. The purpose of the visit was to collaborate with the media outlet to promote the upcoming Bayelsa Waste to Wealth Workshop, scheduled for July 25, 2024.
During the visit, Mrs. Adere highlighted the significance of a clean environment and economic opportunities through effective waste management. She introduced the Waste to Wealth Workshop, designed to educate youths on the potential of waste recycling as a sustainable means of livelihood.
The CEO expressed confidence in potential government support to expand the initiative's reach and sought a partnership with Closer TV to amplify the workshop's impact. In response, Mr. Johnson Ogbomade Itutumeni, CEO of Closer TV, commended the initiative and pledged support, acknowledging the workshop's potential to drive positive change and promote sustainability in the state.
In an interview, Marvellous Thank God Obom, Manager of Closer TV, reported that the Bayelsa Waste to Wealth Workshop aims to equip youths with the necessary skills to succeed in the waste management industry. The workshop is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 25, at 10 am at the Ijaw House, Yenagoa.
